Who am I?
I’m just like you. I have the same desires to look and feel the very best that I possibly can. The only difference between us is that I have the knowledge to help you and guide you to achieve your goals. Whether you have struggled for years to lose weight or are simply feeling that you would like to get fit and tone-up, I can help you to kick-start your body and your mind to bring about positive physical and mental changes.
Exercise and diet are both words that strike fear and misery to anyone that thinks of them as a regime or punishment. That isn’t what I do, I make it fun. There are challenges and part of the process is shaking up your existing routines to incorporate healthy eating and exercise but you will enjoy it, not dread it.
Once the changes start and your confidence grows we can look at how you can project these fantastic changes by re-thinking your image and looking at what you can wear to truly emphasize your best attributes. I want you to be the person that you want to be and I want to help you achieve that.
Why am I different?
I spent my adolescent years being victimized for being bigger than my peers. I tried “slimming clubs” and I tried any and every diet available from meal replacement shakes to restrictive calorie counting. Each time I sank further into despair as I lost little or no weight. In my early teens I bought myself a “step” and a video and I started to exercise at home. By my mid teens, I had started to enjoy other types of aerobic and conditioning exercises and these had generated very real and very positive changes to my body shape. But most importantly, I understood how much better I felt when I was exercising. It offered a fantastic release from the pressure of exams and it gave me the chance to clear my head. That was the beginning.
I don’t remember a time in my life where I have not exercised regularly. I have been in an office-based role for 13 years and I need exercise to counteract that. Even on the days when I feel sluggish I know that a 15 minute brisk walk will quickly pep me up and help my mood, my concentration and my energy levels.
The reason that I am still as committed to exercise is that I make sure that I keep it exciting and varied. Every session needs to count and be enjoyable. What I promise is to help you make those changes that you want to see by using a tailored approach that will offer quick results but will be fun. By incorporating cardiovascular training with interval training, we will get your metabolism fired up on the road to fat burning. Resistance work using your own body weight and other equipment will tone and sculpt your muscles to create the curves and lines that you have always longer for.
Together we will do it and no matter where you are starting from, I understand better than most that the end result is worth every minute of your workouts.
